Get Rid of Old Company Lists

Anyone who has worked with QuickBooks for any length of time has opened multiple company files. Until QuickBooks 12, the pathways for the last 4 or 6 company files always remain in the "No Company Open" window. That creates a huge problem if there is more than one company file. Sometimes people can get confused and open the wrong company file. Now you have people working in more that one QuickBooks file. AND THERE IS NO WAY TO COMBINE FILES. Let me say this again. THERE IS NO WAY TO COMBINE COMPANY FILES.

QuickBooks 2012 Released

Tomorrow, Intuit will release QuickBooks 2012. There are alot of really big changes (FIFO inventory, Advanced Inventory Receiving, Lead Center, Cool New Pricing Levels).

Attached is a comparison chart showing all of the QuckBooks editions (PRO, PREMIER, ENTERPRISE) and all of the feature unlocks. Obviously, the larger editions will have more feature unlocks.

This is a major release and should be carefully evaluated to see if an upgrade will solve nagging problems (serial/lot tracking, automated pricing changes). Some of these new features may make a big difference in your business.
