QuickBooks Data Protect DOES NOT WORK!

I've been working with Intuit over over a month to try to activate my Data Protect service. I've tried to work within the product for over a month, and today I finally I got a pop-up message with an 800 number to call. Like a good Intuit user, I call the number and get a cranky account rep that swears that I needed to go to the original email to click on the correct link. So obediently, I find the original email and click the link...nothing happens. They transfer me to tech support, I'm told my tech support agent that there is a problem, that they don't know what is wrong and there is no date for a fix. Why was I not informed about the problem? There is not solution, so there is no reason to call you. Why did I have to wait for two agents before I was told that the service doesn't work and not to waste any time? "That is not our process", says Intuit.

This is entirely not acceptable. I know that Intuit has laid-off a ton of people and the the people that remain are working very hard, but I believe that Intuit risks their reputation by releasing product that does not work and then does not have the ability to fix the bugs in a timely manner.
