QuickBooks R9 is quite the bear!

I'm hearing from my client base about the difficulty in applying the new R9 release. First of all, understand that Intuit made some changes to the datebase structure. That is why each client AND the database server manager must be updated. The easiest thing that I have seen is to download the exe file and then update the server computer. Make sure that everyone is out of the company file, close the database server manager and then run the exe file.

Once the patch is completed, the administrator will need to update the company file. Just log in as the admin and accept the update.
