Small Business 401k Employee Meetings Done Right!
Recently, I visited one of my established construction clients on the day of their quarterly 401k plan meeting. My clients use Provence Wealth Management Group out of Irvine California. What impresses me the most is that they will come ON SITE every quarter to talk to the employees about their retirement plans and goals. With the reduction of pension plans, a lot more responsibility is given to the individual to understand their retirement plans and then plan for their retirement. Attached is a picture of the white board (with the bagels off to the side). At the meeting, Avi Pai reviewed the structure of the 401k and explained the difference between a Roth and regular 401k. They not only brought and English speaker, but also a Spanish speaker so that we would make sure that everyone could understand. This is what all financial advisors should do for their 401k clients!
