About Surly Brewing Co: Located in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Surly is one of the most exciting micro-breweries in the country. The first brews were made in the owner's garage. That was 2002. By 2006, they had converted an old scrap-metal warehouse into a full fledged brewery and began to offer their beer to the public. Plans are now in place to build a new brewery (complete with restaurant and beer garden) and to increase production eight-fold. Mary Brettmann of Mobile-CFO was called in last winter when it was clear that sales at the Surly gift shop were out of control. Demand was too high for their current system to handle, and out-of-stock conditions were a common occurrence. Just before Christmas Mary went on-site to install and configure Point of Sale and merchant services to the client's QuickBooks Enterprise set-up. The results: They are saving money and gaining valuable, usable information. |
