QuickBooks Training

The first step in learning to use QuickBooks is to watch the Learning Center Tutorials. Located under the help menu, they are a good “first step” in understanding the QuickBooks methodology. QuickBooks Enterprise is now shipping with a training CD. It is a relatively complete study of QBES, but incredibly boring to watch. Locate your trouble spots and then watch those specific video topics.

The one rule that we give to all our clients, “Don’t Struggle”. QuickBooks is meant to be simple and easy to if you are struggling, you either need some training or another program to solve the problem. The time to bring us in is when you know that the program should be able to do something, but you are just not able to get QuickBooks to listen to you.

Please remember that as your company grows, so will your needs for a more complex computer system. It is not uncommon for us to see some clients once or twice a year. During their slow periods, they will save up a few hours of questions and then call us in. Having us on call not only takes the worry out of maintaining an accounting system, but is a great time saver (in not struggling with a problem for days on end).
