Clean Up Your Company File in QuickBooks Point of Sale

Now that we are getting near the end of another year (where did the time go?), it is time to think about cleaning up your QuickBooks Point of Sale file.  As you know, a lot of documents are saved in the point of sale file.  After a while, searching for documents can be a pain when you have to scroll through all of your closed documents. 

The “Clean Up Company File” utility allows you to delete the closed documents that you no longer need.  For a complete list of every thing that can be deleted, please check the highlighted link.  Basically the utility deletes everything that is closed, held or inactive.

It is important to note the each store will need to perform this utility on their own company file.
